Gopher Dairy Camp

The 2022 Gopher Dairy Camp will be held June 23-25 and will officially be held in person once more. The Gopher Dairy Camp is open to youth who have completed grades six through nine but haven’t yet started grade ten. It is hosted by the University of Minnesota’s Gopher Dairy Club in cooperation with the Minnesota 4-H Dairy Project Committee and Minnesota Livestock Breeders’ Association. The intention is to host camp primarily on the St. Paul campus, with accommodations at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

The camp offers unique workshops, which will allow attendees of all skill levels to improve their skills for cattle grooming skills, showmanship, and industry knowledge. The camp rounds out with a showmanship show using animals provided to the campers. Registration will open in March of 2022. Now that the event can be held in person, attendance is limited to the first 100 youth who register for the event. Any potential changes or updates to the structure of the camp will be communicated as soon as possible!

The Gopher Dairy Club is looking forward to hosting the 2022 Gopher Dairy Camp!
